PMW Ventures SMS Privacy Policy
Scope
This policy applies only to the PMW Ventures internal SMS program. The program sends low-volume, non-marketing operational and administrative messages to employees and authorized business collaborators who personally provide a mobile number and expressly consent to receive those messages.
Information we collect
For this SMS program, PMW Ventures may collect a recipient's name, business role, mobile number, consent record, message content, and delivery or interaction metadata. A consent record may include the date, time, method, disclosures shown, and the recipient's affirmative response.
How we use information
PMW Ventures uses this information only to send and administer internal operational or administrative messages, including task updates, scheduling, reminders, operational support replies, consent management, security, compliance, and troubleshooting. The SMS program is not used for promotional marketing.
No sale or marketing sharing of mobile information
PMW Ventures does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
PMW Ventures may disclose limited information to messaging platforms, telecommunications carriers, and service providers only as necessary to deliver, secure, support, and administer the SMS program, or when disclosure is required by law. Those disclosures do not permit third-party marketing.
Message frequency and carrier charges
Message frequency varies based on operational need. Messages are low-volume and infrequent. Message and data rates may apply according to the recipient's wireless plan.
Your choices
Reply STOP to opt out. After an opt-out, PMW Ventures will stop sending SMS to that number except for a confirmation message or as otherwise required by law. Reply HELP for help, or email admin@pmwventures.net. A recipient may also request correction or deletion of the program information PMW Ventures controls, subject to legitimate record-retention obligations.
Retention and security
PMW Ventures retains SMS-program information only as long as reasonably needed for the operational purpose, consent and opt-out records, security, dispute resolution, and legal or compliance obligations. PMW Ventures uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children
This program is intended only for employees and authorized business collaborators and is not directed to children.
Changes to this policy
PMW Ventures may update this policy. The current version and effective date will appear on this page. A material change to the SMS program's data practices will be communicated as appropriate before it applies.
